This policy explains what happens to your data when you use Classic Solitaire (Klondike), an offline card game developed by an independent developer. The short version: the app collects nothing, sends nothing anywhere, and doesn't need an internet connection to work.
No account. No tracking. No ads. No internet permission requested. All game data stays on your device.
Who this applies to
This policy covers all editions of the app published under the "Classic Solitaire" family (including localized listings such as Solitaire Français Classique, Solitario Español Clásico, Klassisches Deutsches Solitär, Solitario Italiano Classico, Klassiek Nederlands Patience, and Paciência Portuguesa Clássica), as they share the same codebase and data practices.
Information we collect
None. The app does not collect, transmit, or have access to any personal data, device identifiers, location data, contacts, photos, or usage analytics. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no way for the developer to identify you or see how you play.
Data stored on your device
The app saves a small amount of information locally, using Android's standard on-device storage (Jetpack DataStore). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to the developer or any third party.
| What | Daily Challenge progress: the date you last completed the daily challenge, and your current streak count. |
|---|---|
| Where | Locally on your device only, inside the app's private storage. |
| Shared with | Nobody. It is not uploaded, synced, or accessible to the developer. |
| Deleted when | You clear the app's storage/cache, or uninstall the app. |
Android's own "Auto Backup for Apps" feature may include this data in your personal Google account backup, the same way it backs up most apps on your device. That backup is managed entirely by Google/Android, not by the developer — see Google's own privacy policy for how that works. You can turn this off for the app in your device's system Backup settings at any time.
Permissions
The app does not request any Android permissions — not even internet access. It cannot read your contacts, location, storage, camera, microphone, or any other device data.
Advertising and third-party services
The current version of the app contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party libraries that collect data. If this ever changes in a future update (for example, if optional ads or purchases are introduced), this policy will be updated first, the change will be reflected in the app's store listing, and the same principles of transparency will apply.
Children's privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information from anyone at all. It is suitable for a general audience.
Your data, your control
Since nothing is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for the developer to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. Everything the app stores lives in your device's local storage and is removed automatically when you uninstall the app, or manually via your device's Settings → Apps → Classic Solitaire → Clear storage.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example if a future version of the app adds an optional feature that involves data collection — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date below will change accordingly. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
